It it amazing so many people hate for no reason the really do take .time and it is homemade trust me it is an awesome stop defiantly give it a try you won't regret it

The food at this establishment is consistently delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. The burgers are particularly noteworthy for their quality and flavor. Despite any negative reviews, the small town restaurant offers friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere that is worth the visit.

Since there are no other options to choose from along the pathway to Missouri one may choose to set foot in this establishment, however, be aware that the food is your usual cafeteria style grilled food, not homemade. It was cooked correctly, but some was not hot.

The sad part is the entire establishment (owner and manager) have cognitive dissonance about how ineffectively they manage their orders and customers. We ordered prior to some obvious locals who had a few in their party that arrived shortly after us. We were told if we ordered breakfast it may be a longer wait. However, it literally took 1.5 hrs for French toast, chicken fried steak, biscuits, French fries and chicken fingers.

The owner excused his tardiness with a lie that he filled over 100 to-go orders (a volume I see In-n-Out do marvously while eating in) yet only about 10 orders were picked up during that time period. I thought to just get up at 1 hr 15 and just leave, however, I did not want to be unkind and have never walked out of restaurant in my life. Sadly, I had hoped the owner would at least have a sincere apology, not just patronize me with an insincere apology.

If this man had just set aside some of his profits over the years and set a goal to expand with the volume of orders he may not be so overwhelmed with his current situation in which he clearly feels trapped. Despite his inability to listen, I was able to offer one piece of advise. Perhaps he could have an additional cook and less waitresses (there were 3). There were only 5 psrties maximum eating during at this time.

So if you have plenty of time and like this type of grilled food this may be a stop for you. I would prefer to spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

We must all be ready to receive criticism or we shall not grow. Trying to insult the customer using Ad Hominem arguments are fruitless and show an immaturity and inability to receive honest feedback that we may need to hear the most. I hope this owner will take this feedback to heart and reflect on it.

Great Staff and Owner! Food is VERY good... No skimpy portions,
Favorites:
Tenderloin Sandwich,
The Jackman ( cheeseburger),
Chili/Cheese tater-tots,
Sausage and cheese omelet! ( its huge!)

Prices are average and well within reason.
