Best chicken in southeast Kansas. Crispy crust and juicy, tender, well-cooked chicken. Great onion rings, baked beans, sweet potato salad, cole slaw, and green beans. We like that the food is not loaded with salt but has great flavor.

It's the best in the area and this area is famous for its chicken!
I've never been disappointed! Best Chicken and Noodles in the area and their tenders are HUGE!
Meg's chicken is NOT coated in cornmeal! Always freshly made and, if being catered, is still hot and moist when delivered!
Make sure you bring a check, or cash. They don't accept credit or debit cards.

Throughout the years we've eaten at various chicken restaurants in Crawford County; and Gebhardt's serves not only the best chicken, but also gives the largest servings of veggie sides. We will be customers for life.

Of all the available chicken restaurants in southeast Kansas, Gebhardt's Chicken is the best (crispy crust and tender meat). They also offer a wide variety of tasty sides to choose from: their baked beans are scrumptious, and we love their iced tea. Although we live in southeast Missouri, it is well worth the drive.

DELICIOUS.. always hot and fresh, real potato french fries, very reasonable priced .. the chicken noodles on monday are perfection.

Bland, tendon filled chicken of your childrens nightmares. First bite and my child has sworn off chicken for life. Nothing like a chewy tendon to ruin a dinner. Salad for starters was clearly dumped onto a plate from a bag. The service was hard to bear as we only received one refil. dont forget to seat yourself, or be prepaired to yell for a waitress, or for someone to take your money and dont forget the cash!

Avoid the drive and the lack of taste bud enjoyment
