I have been a patron of this establishment for over four decades and the flavors are distinct to this particular restaurant. Whenever I visit, I make it a point to bring my children to enjoy both the food and the sense of nostalgia it brings. During a recent stop on a road trip, my husband savored the best fried chicken he has ever had, paired with a baked potato and a visit to the salad bar. The combination plate of fried shrimp and clams, along with tater tots and coleslaw, was equally satisfying. The lemonade with unlimited refills and the affordable bill made for a great dining experience, making this place a contender for our regular dining rotation if we lived closer.
