Respecting freedom, with amazing food! Nourishment in more ways than one!

When Rise & Shine opened a few years back, the food was good, the prices okay for what you got but the service was always a bit poor. They flourished. That led to the food going downhill, the prices going uphill and the service degrading even further, sometimes bordering on surly in their manner of treating customers ... as if we were bothering them to ask for more coffee (or even HOT coffee). Now the staff is proudly flaunting its "freedom" to not wear masks. With deaths approaching 1/2 million Americans, their "freedom" seems to be equated with the freedom to take chances with others health - or even, lives. Perhaps when their business goes into the same toilet where they have put any concern for their patrons, they may wake up. Masks are a health issue; not a political one. I wonder how many of this staff would have refused the smallpox vaccination in the name of "freedom" if they had that opportunity?
