Living in Okinawa and traveling frequently to the Philippines has deepened my love for Filipino food, and finding freshly baked pandesal at Manila Bread House in Norfolk, VA instantly satisfied a long-standing craving. The warm, sweet rolls melt in my mouth, and the friendly owner Joe and his family create a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit feel like coming home, especially when paired with their amazing lumpia and other authentic Filipino treats.

Living in Okinawa, Japan, I travel to the Philippines a few times each year and have developed a strong love for Filipino cuisine. Recently, I discovered the Manila Bread House in Norfolk, VA, where I couldn't resist the warm pandesal straight from the oven, and it brought back fond memories from my childhood. The owner, Joe, and his family are incredibly kind, and their delicious food, including lumpia and pan de coco, keeps me coming back for more.
