Always great food

Last nite at Madeline's was one of the worst restaurant experiences that I can remember. So bad that here I am the next day still so frustrated that I'm writing a review.

It was complete incompetence from start to finish. It was my father in law's birthday dinner, so we were all looking forward to a good meal and relaxing in a nice restaurant. From the minute we walked in and they weren't aware of our reservation, to waiting an hour for our lukewarm meals, it was total frustration. Our clueless waitress didn't mention the specials, didn't light the table candles, didn't offer to bring rolls while we patiently waited, and they also screwed up one of the 5 dinners. Our waitress didn't project any real awareness of how lousy her service was. In the end, we were fully comp-ed for everything, but the evening was ruined and we all left extremely unhappy.

I believe most, if not all, of the blame goes to our young waitress, but I doubt that any of our party will return there anytime soon or recommend Madeline's to any of our many friends.

Great burgers. I needed to get in and out. Let them know that and they made it happen.

Place is awesome. Huge burgers and you get large portions. Price is reasonable with all you get!

I have been there twice. My first visit I tried a Lobster roll, it was ok but small and rather pricey. My second visit I had the meatloaf. It was good, kinda pricey but at least the portion was a decent size. So, overall the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly, but it's pricey.

Ordered the bistro fillet for the price it was rather tough, daughter had barbecued chicken thugs that were very tough and cold. Granted they were very busy but is still not acceptable
