If you're in the Bronx Zoo area or near Pelham Parkway, you should try the almond croissant at JE Bakery. The combination of butter and almond filling creates a delicious treat, and there are also danishes, muffins, and cinnamon rolls available. While the staff may not be the friendliest, the quality of the baked goods makes it worth a visit.
