I agree with the above posting. I've had a couple bad meals at Pasta House, Paducah. The last one I tried to eat looked as if they hadn't drained the pasta...nearly soup. Gross. Avoid it.

My husband and I just got home from the Pasta House Co. in Jordan's Crossing Paducah, KY with a horrid taste in our mouths and a much lighter wallet. This was the first time for both of us to eat here and my husband, loving Italian food, was very excited. Needless to say, the food was just shy of total crap. It started to go wrong with bread rolls that were hard as bricks. Then our salads came and while the house salad my husband had was not too bad, my Cesar was disgusting. It tasted of fish oil and mayo, was room temp and oily. We ordered appetizers (the combo) and dinner started to look up. The hot wings are very good, the toasted ravioli not too shabby. However, the portabello mushrooms were covered in soggy breading and the cheese sticks were your average fair. Our entrees were up next. My husband ordered the Shrimp Garanzini and I ordered Bistecca Siciliano, medium rare. His shrimp were breaded with soggy breading and beyond that totally tasteless. The white pasta was clumpy and the 'Italian potatoes' smothered in onions and olives. (To make it LOOK like something from Italy??) My Angus steak was pounded into submission and cooked within an inch of its life; again the breading was disgustingly soggy and there was no "lightly breaded" about it. My white pasta was also cold, clumpy and rather tasteless and while I didn't mind the 'Italian potatoes' as much as my husband, they weren't worth the $72 we spent for our dinner. I will say however, that our server was excellent and very friendly. All in all though, we will NEVER go back to that place again and I would strongly suggest ANY other Italian restaurant than the Pasta House Co.
