We swung by Gold Rush Cafe for breakfast while in Paducah for a baby shower, and after a long wait to get seated, the food totally made up for it. The portions were generous, everything was delicious, especially those bread pudding waffles, and I can't wait to go back!

We were greeted as we came in and the waitress was nice. However, the atmosphere was just non existent , you couldn't hear yourself talk over the staff talking to each other. Lots of dust on light fixtures and pictures on the walls needed cleaned. A plus the bathrooms were clean. The silverware was like something you would find in a Waffle House, forks so flat , you would think a steam roller had ran over them. The food awful, we had the monte Cristina and it was a deep fried sandwich dripping with grease. There really is very little about healthy on their menu and sugar free is pretty much not on the menu. I would avoid this place. I would not waste my money there. Clean it up, modernize it somewhat and improve your menu. It really isn't a place I would recommend.
