The best food ever. Oh but the ice cream is just over the top. Every thing is just so wonderful. Some of the best food that I have ever had.

Cozy, down-home restaurant with food as good as you will find anywhere. It is picnic-table settings with a large salad bar, cornbread, muffins, and hush puppies. There is always the best fish, chicken and mostly pork chops, but the veggies are unbelievable. For dessert, they offer cobblers, assuming you saved room for any. Try it. You will like it. Staff are very efficient and they work quickly as there is almost always a line of people for the available seating.

An outstanding smorgasbord with home-cooking, using fresh and not frozen meats, vegetables and salad bar. Home made desserts of apple, peach, cherry cobblers and banana pudding. Home made breads. Excellent service. If you have to wait a few minutes, it's worth it. Martha Hopper and her grandson, Harry Holliday, make eating here a "come back again" experience. They do not take credit cards.
