I've been visiting Jay's since I was 13, and the hamburgers are exceptional, along with the tasty pork tenderloin and delicious shakes. The diner is cash or check only, which requires a trip to the nearby bank, but the friendly service and affordable prices make it a local favorite for burgers and milkshakes.

My family used to eat here in the early 70s. Jays burgers are the best! People go on about the "Island burger" in Island. Jays knocks them out on that! Prices are very reasonable, well worth what you pay. On my way there now!!

Responding to the negative comment below. When you order fries, they do not put a handful on a napkin. Thats a lie. It mest be an ex employee or a competitor. Jays is the BEST. If Jays treated customers like that, they wouldnt be in business today!

Their chili had macaroni in it, gross. Also the burgers made my gf sick. Asked for a lg fries and got a small handful in a napkin. Really disappointed cuz I heard such good things
