My husband brought me some food from Split Tree, and although I'm usually not a fan of BBQ, their barbecue was so delicious-especially the smoked bologna sandwich with cheese and onion, along with the chopped pork dinner and peach cobbler with ice cream-and I can't wait to visit the restaurant someday to enjoy the friendly staff, generous portions, unique menu options, and great prices.

Everything here is vinegar based. The bbq sauces, the coleslaw, etc. We do not like the vinegar based stuff, so we did not enjoy anything here. Choices would make it much better, but with all the choices of places to eat in BG, I doubt we ever go back to see.

Read that the potato salad was new and improved, it was awful and the BBQ was dry. Went to pay and the old man was rude. I'll drive by next time and go on to Scottsville for some decent BBQ

The best pulled pork, BBQ beans and corn cakes anywhere! Very reasonably priced. Great for catering.

BEST barbeque in South-central Kentucky, hands down! We've been going there for over 20 years, and they still have the best flavor, best service, best baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad, and best sauces around!

Only complaint I have is that they close at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, when most of us get out of church, so we aren't able to come for a quick bite and fellowship after church, or just to pick up a pound on the way home. :/
