Bertie's Ice Cream and Dairy offers a wonderful variety of delicious, freshly made food with friendly service and reasonable prices. Their menu includes favorites like the Chuck Wagon sandwich, double cheeseburgers with mushroom and Swiss, crispy tater tots, and unique chocolate banana shakes, all perfect after a day of hiking or biking near Mammoth Cave. I love the cozy outdoor seating and the option to enjoy a fresh-dipped ice cream cone or sundae while soaking in the local atmosphere.

These small town dairy dips remind me of the charm of drive-in movies, and stumbling upon one is always a treat. I had the Chuck wagon sandwich, onion rings, and a chocolate banana shake, which the lady said was her first time making, and it was delicious. It's the perfect stop after a bike ride near Mammoth Cave, and the food is always fresh and served up quickly by friendly folks.

The cheese burger deluxe !Best I can find.Got of work had my wife call me a order in .live one block away. Fries old or just colded ,96 degrees out side. Not cold!! Heap work work work . i am a robot....

Excellent hometown grill joint! 100% beef burgers (no fillers tasted here), assortment of different style French Fries, and sandwiches. Hamburger Steak sandwich is the bomb! Finish it out with a great tasting old time tasting shake or sundae. We visit this place every time we vist town. Compared to city chain prices, this place is a gold mine of value.
