Funny. My wife and I were bemoaning the closing just today -- 24 years after the closing. I have dined in Paris, London, New York, and Chicago, and never had the equal of Mama Grisanti's Spaghetti w Shrimp in Marinara. And that includes the Sanderling Inn (5-Star) Outer Banks, NC (BTW, if you are ever there, try Sanderling's corn/seafood chowder).

This was simply the best Italian anywhere. Still crave that Mariana sauce and garlic bread placed on moon globes to stay hot
