Barb, the lovely server at Cottage Cafe in Middletown, is truly a gem. During my visit, I accidentally chipped a tooth, but Barb's kindness and care made the experience much more bearable. The food was delicious, especially the chicken salad and tomato dill soup, and the desserts are a must-try. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the exceptional service, made my visit to Cottage Cafe a memorable one.

I love their desserts but I have never had anything bad there there's sandwich chicken salad sandwich and they're Benedictine sandwiches or my go-to and Miss Margaret's cake yep by far my favorite

We have been going here for years! The food is always great! The owner and staff friendly and dedicated. And the customary greeting or farewell of a spoonful of any home made pie you choose is a wonderful treat !

One of my favorite places for a casual lunch - and I so appreciate their hiring - and helping - some who are challenged. The food is always good - and the desserts outstanding.

We had a bridesmaids lunch today & this was such a lovely location. The food was delicious and the service, amazing. Our drinks were never empty & desserts to die for. Prices were so reasonable too. We will definitely be back.

Susan, I just wanted to confirm with you the date of mother's luncheon. It will be Monday, April 2 at 11:30. Everyone is coming except Carmen and Mary Salyer. Terry just called and said she thought it said the luncheon would be at 12:30. Anyway I just wanted to be sure we had the time right...11:30. Thank you. happened upon this place by accident it was cold an wet we were on foot just wanted to get coffee while car was in shop a block away.
WOW a diamond in the rough. No much decor, reminds me of the cafes yrs ago (1960's) driving to Cincinnati from eastern Ky.
Great food and THE CAKES DON'T NEED AN INTRODUCTION!
the best ever and I'm a baker. You gotta try them
the people are great too.
I've settled on a different piece of cake each month. lol enjoy

Quaint little restaurant, only open from 11:00 - 3:00 Monday - Saturday. It's a great place for lunch. You will love it, chicken salad , egg salad, Benedictine, turkey, chicken, pasta, soups, meat loaf, hot browns and so much more. The desserts are to die for, they are the fluffiest cakes I have ever ate.Red Velvet (Oh my) You really need to try them. We order them for our family Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners every year. Susan the owner is a great person too, she really wants you to enjoy her food. I probably need to give it 5 stars.

Informal and cozy, this small cafe has great choices for lunch. Chicken, Tuna and Egg Salad are terrific! Great place to order cakes for special occasions. They are homemade and you won't be disappointed with any choices.
