First the Hostess her name was Amanda she was so sweet and happy and Smiling the whole time. Made me feel welcomed. She made it worth coming. My server was not as nice but made the food right and in a reasonable time frame. Although my waitress wasn't very happy as the hostess. I'd defanitly come back. Thank you Cracker barrel for Good food & service and Warming hostesses. I will recommend this place anytime.

Can't believe the straw situation. Waited for server. Ordered tea. Tea came and server left without a word. Server finally returned for order. Asked for a straw. Was informed servers cannot carry a straw with them or offer a straw unless the customer asked for one. Really? Server disappeared for a while to get a straw. Finally...about 15 minutes into my lunch HOUR...I get a straw and can now order. Now, to be fair, the food was great but...the server could not possibly CARRY a straw with her and ASK if the customer would like one? I mean it's a STRAW!! To punctuate the absurdity of this, I was offered a cup of tea to go when I left. Now which costs more....the straw that is evidently guarded carefully or the CUP and TEA that they gladly give away? The really irritating part of this is that I couldn't finish my lunch because it took so long to deal with a STRAW. I plan one more visit...I work close by and friends and I are there often...and see what part of my lunch HOUR is devoted to dealing with a straw. Another visit like this one will be my last. So the question is, do you really want to drive away customers over a straw??
