The staff can be hit or miss-while some servers are attentive and friendly, others may feel rushed-but overall, the atmosphere and quality of food make it a place worth visiting regularly.

The outdoor seating at Barleycorn's Lakeside offers a nice ambiance, although the service was rushed and the portions were smaller than expected. Despite these drawbacks, the food was good and the patio was enjoyable, making it a decent choice for a casual meal out.
