Wixey Bakery has been a part of my life since I was a baby, and their cakes and donuts never disappoint-perfect for everything from birthdays to weddings. Today, on my 41st birthday, I stopped by for a chocolate on chocolate cake, enjoyed some amazing doughnuts, and was even surprised when they gave me the cake for free because of their fantastic customer service.

I was very disappointed with the cupcakes I ordered for my mother's 98th birthday. The cake was very dry and seemed like it was days old.

One of the perks of getting old is being able to pick what you really want for your birthday and since it happens only once a year, you can $$Splurge!!!
Discovered the huge eclairs when I was just a kid, now they are brightening my 67th Birthday
