The Conn Ave location of Politics and Prose is where I go to indulge in my love for books and delicious treats. The bookstore offers a wide selection of books, including hidden culinary treasures waiting to be discovered in the sale section. The cafe downstairs is a cozy spot to enjoy a pastry or a glass of wine while getting lost in a good book.

We were in Politics and Prose and bought several books on 21 Jan. We then sat down. My wife then went to the coffee bar at the counter - the den.
The barista was a young man with curly hair. He treated my wife very disrespectfully. She asked for a hot matcha latte. She had been waiting in line for 20 minutes and she was told that they stopped serving matcha at a certain time. When she objected to having waited so long to no avail, he told her she had only been waiting ten minutes, that he saw her when she came up. He was very rude to my wife. When did "the customer is always right" go out of practice?
You should know this.
We won't be returning due to this very rude behavior.
