I was in the hospital and was given a menu to choose from which have very little in the way of veggies, but lots of meat, refined flour products, and some fruit. Not much for vegetarians etc. and not one dish with beans. I did choose what they called a MIXED GREEN salad only to get iceberg lettuce with 3 cherry tomatoes and one slice of cucumber - the skin on the slice of cucumber was the only GREEN thing in the salad- VERY DECEPTIVE. One day they only had sugar free syrup so I asked about syrup the next day and they said they had some so I asked if they had maple syrup and she said yes, only to get SMUCKERS corn fructose syrup... THEY LIED TO ME. Had they told me the truth I could've chose something else.
Apparently they could care less about how healthy you eat while you are there except maybe how much salt someone might get? And the menu is deceiving and they will even lie regarding what they have!
