Monkhouse Seafood Diner exceeded my expectations with its inviting atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff. The menu offered a fantastic variety of fresh seafood, and every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, especially the shrimp Po'boy and the catfish, which my wife adored. The service was outstanding, making the entire dining experience truly enjoyable, and I can't wait to return for more of their delicious offerings.

The quintessential hole in the wall restaurant. Very happy I found it. Best shrimp I ever had (excluding the shrimp cocktail I had once at a fancy steakhouse). My husband ordered the catfish and enjoyed it as well.

I just called monk house to ask one simple question about a order the young lady had me on hold for 5 minutes and you can hear everything in the back ground very unprofessional

I called in an order and it was ready on time. But when I get home my plate had only 10 1/2 of shrimps on it. I ordered a dozen shrimp with French fries and salad no dressing. My food was great but the price was high. I paid 16.43 for my food and I did not get my complete order .I kept calling back but the phone was busy .
