We drove about 60 miles. Place was packed. Had to wait a bit longer than planned to get our food. And we are already planning a return trip. Great food, friendly staff and owner. Just a great place. Fish was fantastic, excellent burgers and do not forget the onion rings! Thanks

Other than the long wait, everything about this diner was great. The food is simple and tasty, with burgers, seafood, and made-to-order salads that hit the spot. The friendly manager chats with customers, making the whole experience really welcoming in this tiny town.

On the day of 04/25/23 I ordered a shrimp po boy at exactly 5:56pm as I leave here at 6:40 EMPTY HANDED because I refuse to wait any longer for two pieces of bread , shrimp, lettuce , cheese and mayo"¦. Not only that to add to my frustration several people who came in to pickup orders got theirs served promptly. While I was told twice a few more minutes when I first got there and maybe almost 25 minutes after again it's almost done and still it didn't come out "¦ I hate to say it , I'm not one to play the race card but everyone else with pickup orders or who were served were WHITE ! I'm the only black female there and I'm made to wait . I finally got tired of waiting after basically almost a hour on a call in for one item . No drink , no side ,"¦ even if race wasn't the case that wasn't right ! That's how I felt ! Why is everyone else's in and out but me ???? Why is no checking on my order ? Are asking me if I need anything else ?

First and last time stopping at dairy delight in pleasant hill !!!!!!!!
