Ms. Moodie serves up soul food so good, it practically transports me back to my granny's kitchen-chicken fried steak smothered in white gravy, greens, peas, mashed potatoes, and that unforgettable fried cornbread are my go-to every time. Whether it's Thursday's Chicken 'n' Dumplins or fried chicken on Friday, the flavors, the sweet tea pitcher, and the cozy vibe keep me coming back like clockwork-trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

I was so excited to find a country food restaurant! I gooled it and got a website that rated it 4.5.
I am from Georgia and moved her 7 weeks ago and have been very disappointed in the food and the prices. In Duluth Ga, there is a restaurant called Hannaha's where you get a meat and 2 sides plus tea for $7.50. It's a walk up and you clean your trash so no tip. Pretty reasonable! There are also other places you can get a delicious, reasonably priced lunch.

Meal was $10.00 included meat and 2 sides. I got the fried pork chops. They were overseasoned and a little over done. The greens were too sweet and the limas were way over done, mushy. The tea was excellent, service good and people friendly. After tip it was $12.00 plus change. This is a poor section of Louisiana and this place was packed. Lunch places in this town are way over priced. I will not go back.
