I HAVE SEEN ALL THE REVIEWS AND ALMOST DIDN'T GO BECAUSE NONE AT THEM SEEMED VERY GOOD. THEN I NOTICED HOW OLD THEY WERE. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE FROM VEGAS AND REALLY MISSIN THE SUSHI PLACES WE USED TO EAT AT. THIS PLACE WAS THE ONLY PLACE WE HAVE FOUND DECENT SUSHI. WE WERE THERE FOR DINNER AND THEY HAD SOMEONE MAKING IT FRESH. THE REST OF THE MENU WAS INCREDIBLE..NO COMPLAINTS WHAT SO EVER. WE ARE HEADED THERE TODAY TO CHECK OUT THERE LUNCH SELECTION... PRICES ARE DECENT AS WELL. THEY GET A LOT OF BUSINESS..ALWAYS BUSY AND THAT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING.

Im a soldier and I almost never complain about food. I love chinese restaurants and have visited buffet city over the last 1.5 years or so that it has been open.
At first it was a fine buffet, the sushi was barely tolerable- but what do you expect for 10$ buffet sushi right?
This place has gone continually down hill. On our last visit, we sampled almost every selection on the buffet to discover it was undercooked(fries/potatoes), rubbery (chicken nuggets), wrong flavor entirely(popcorn butter soaked shrimp- DISGUSTING), or just plain wrong (beef+croccoli).
Again I love chinese restaurants- and I used to speak praises of this place, but it has degraded to the point that I will NEVER go back to this restaurant.

The food and service at Buffet City is great. They have a big variety of foods and desserts. I am very picky especially when it comes to buffet, so take my word. Yesterday, I ate at the other buffet across the street and DID NOT like it.

Its a nice Buffet Restaurant with a big variety of different dishes and even a Sushi Bar. The food tastes always very good and the staff is very friendly. The price is right.

Classic case of let's put our restaurant right across the street from our competition and make our place bigger and fancier. There's no doubt that this place has a bigger selection of chinese food than the China Wok right across the street, but it just doesn't taste as good to me. The wait staff are sometimes unattentive and when they finally do come by, they have the same mischievous look in their eyes as my teenage kids. I'd go for the China Wok.
