When I'm back in the south, I always make time for a visit to my favorite spot for some classic fried chicken. The lines might be long and the service a bit hit-or-miss, but the crispy, juicy chicken and flavorful sides never fail to hit the spot. It's a local gem that always satisfies my craving for authentic Southern comfort food.

We go to southern classic chicken 2 times a month r more we went this morning to get some fresh hot chicken. The chicken was like it was cooked yesterday and cold.

Seems the place has gotten much worse lately with the onset of the C-19. Higher prices, bad service and shorted chicken. They raised the 15 white to $32 from $22 (50%, chicken only). Attitudes while being served and getting less than you pay for, The chicken is USUALLY good but the bad service seems to be there always. They need a manager that will fix these problems. They have a wonderful product but the over pricing and bad service will get them sooner or later--sooner for me..-

We usually go twice a month to eat in Jonesboro . We live about 20 minutes away in Winnfield. Today we went to Southern Classic about 4pm. There was a line of cars almost to the road..We ordered our chicken took it home and it was old dried out chicken. You would think with that many people waiting to order, they would have more concern about the quality of their food Extremely disappointed!!

Most of the reviews from the past two mths have been from James G Coats Jr . My fixing to be ex.
Hes mad because I found out where my cell phone went. 318 608 1161...and it was more than chicken he was eating.
