While passing through, I decided to try the General Chicken, which was freshly prepared and ready just moments before the promised time. Although the rice was brown and not what I expected, the meal was still delicious, and the friendly service made the experience even better. I found myself pleasantly surprised by the quality, as it reminded me of my favorite dishes back home in New Orleans, and I would certainly return whenever I'm in the area.

My wife and I live in Kinder and travel to Jennings at least every couple weeks to eat at the General Wok. The food is fantastic, the service is fast and even though the place is small it makes you feel good just to be there.
the Garlic Shrimp is the one we like the best and have eaten that dish most of the time
