The food here is exceptional, with generous portions that have never disappointed me over the years. I savored the blackened redfish and shrimp prepared four different ways, while my companions enjoyed the ribeye and shrimp and grits, both of which I'm eager to try on my next visit. The atmosphere is charming, reminiscent of a tight-knit community where everyone feels like family, making each dining experience truly special.

Always good food and service!

I took out of town guests there and shock occurred when the food arrived.. To quote my guest. these hush puppies are nasty. My catfish that was fried was terrible also. Over mealed and fried till hard. I ate one piece of mine. Drinks were fine. I have eaten there many times in past and have alwa write this so you ccan correct this soon..Tks

My first time here. Excellent food. Unfortunately, on a diet. I can truthfully say, the best Hamburger Steak I ever ate in my life. Best Gravy. Don't know how they do it, but I will continue to come to this place when I am in town.

Stop living in the past. That was a rediculous comment and uncalled for. Without reservations, anyone sits in the back. It's just that simple.

BTW... In Life there are times all of us feel like 2nd class citizens. What do we do? Get over it!

The food was great and the service was excellent. However, I have to say that I felt like a second class citizen. I was visiting from out of town and some friends recommended this restaurant to me. Even though there was seating at the front of the restaurant, we (my mom, dad and myself) were escorted to the back of the restaurant where there was only one other black couple. I'll let you make a determination.
