We ended up dining at a restaurant with fewer cars in the lot and enjoyed a surprisingly good barbecue chicken plate, along with delicious sweet potatoes. During a recent family visit in NE Louisiana, I also picked up some Podnuh's BBQ, which brought back fond childhood memories with its tender meats and amazing sides, making me wish for a delivery back in NYC.
