For years, I've felt like a moth drawn to the glowing neon of El Rio Grande, especially when that Summer Special rolls around. Even when the bustling crowd surrounds me, the delicious food and welcoming vibe wrap me in comfort, making every visit feel like a warm hug from an old friend.

I have been eating at El Rio Grande over 50 years. The food is home made and the owner is still cooking in the kitchen. For my prom night in 1969, they opened up for us and he made it a memorable evening. Raul is his son and now runs the restaurant and papa still helps cook. They have the best Margarita in town.
