Consistent in both food and service, this local neighborhood bar/restaurant caters to a diverse crowd of middle-aged and older patrons, creating a friendly atmosphere. The ambiance is almost family-friendly, adorned with games and memorabilia on the walls, and the establishment offers a good selection of food and drinks. While the fries can be a bit soggy and some burgers overcooked, overall, it's a great spot for delicious meals like the club sandwich, onion rings, fried fish, and specials. The chicken sensation salad is a personal favorite, and the generous portions are well worth the slight wait for your order. The bar staff, like Joel, are knowledgeable and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The shrimp po boy and crab artichoke soup are standout dishes, showcasing perfectly fried shrimp and a flavorful soup with real crab and artichoke hearts. The service is excellent, and the unique order system adds to the charm of this quintessential Baton Rouge bar. It's a reliable choice for tasty sandwiches, fried treats, and refreshing drinks, with the added convenience of efficient to-go orders during these unprecedented times. And let's not forget the fantastic margaritas crafted by Jennifer!
