My brother, visiting from the icy north, had a craving for shrimp during his stay. Opting for a new dining experience, we ventured to Murphy's where the warm glow of the restaurant welcomed us. Seated promptly, we enjoyed a courteous waiter and indulged in generous portions of Gulf shrimp and catfish, perfectly satisfying our cravings. The overall experience left us planning a return visit to this inviting establishment.

The service is excellent and the food is very good. The place is always clean. I think that is a a mom and pop establishment. This place beat Don's Seafood in Hammond any day. I believe Don's is overrated.
