The food is high quality and large in portion sizes. The atmosphere is upscale and clean. The silverware is properly washed, the iceberg lettuce is delicious for salads, the chairs are very comfortable and the help is patient, sweet and intolerant of questions. I would award more stars but this system does not allow more.

It's so nice having a real family restaurant in Metairie! I love this place. They have the best meatballs and spaghetti.

We had a great dinner at Fury’s. It’s a casual spot that’s kind of hidden and cozy. Great for good food with the fam.

It's a pretty intimate place, and they have about 20 tables or so. There's a larger front dining room, and they have a back area by the bar with tables as well. The bar is really nice. Also, they have mocktails, which is a pretty new thing for them, but I tried one and it was great.

Fury's is my new go-to spot near my house. I love the meatballs here. They are not bread-y, and they have a really good flavor. It's also a fantastic deal.

Fury's crawfish pasta is nothing short of a dream on a plate! Seriously, if I could dream about food, this dish would be it. The pasta is perfectly cooked, twirling around plump and flavorful crawfish that steal the spotlight. The creamy sauce? It's like a flavorful hug for every bite, rich and indulgent without overwhelming the delicate taste of the crawfish. This dish is a masterpiece that balances textures and flavors flawlessly. Every time I think about Fury's crawfish pasta, my taste buds start begging for more. It's a heavenly experience that keeps me coming back for that dreamy, unforgettable flavor.

Man, Fury's chicken parm is like a flavor explosion! The chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and that marinara sauce is just perfect—like homemade grandma style. They don't skimp on the cheese either, all gooey and melty. It's like comfort food at its finest, you know? And they throw in some pasta on the side that's just right. Fury's chicken parm is like a big, tasty hug for your taste buds. If you're into classic Italian that hits the spot, this dish at Fury's is where it's at. Totally worth checking out, seriously.

The recent renovation really brightened the space without compromising the original charm. The bar with the new cocktails is really nice, too. Fury's is more than a restaurant... it's the heart of old-world New Orleans.

I love the new Fury's... the inside is so much warmer than it used to be, and the service has gotten so much better! The food is just as good as it's always been, but when I visited with my friends for lunch today, I was blown away.

I had the Flounder with Crabmeat, and it was amazing!!! I also liked the little salad with the ranch dressing. You can tell they make it in house.

The new renovation at Fury's is amazing. I totally thought they had closed. Came in for lunch in Saturday and had the best fried shrimp pobiy of my life.

review_stars 06/15/2023 - Never will I ever go back.
The meatballs which you would expect to be very easy to produce are beyond horrible, no gravy and tough as rubber , no flavor and who knows what if any real beef. The crawfish pasta has mushy pasta and tiny tiny crawfish, which as tough and tasteless. The child’s broiled fish is gray on the bottom and mushy as well. The waiters are totally disrespectful and call you my baby.

I just found out about this place, and it’s so good. It’s just off Vets far enough to be kind of out of sight. So it attracts a crowd of people who are in-the-know. Which is good because it’s a small place and can’t accomodate a lot of people. But it’s SO GOOD. It’s probably the best meal I’ve had in years. You have to try the butterflies trout Carrie!

The new renovations have this place looking so much better! Finally the restaurant LOOKS as good as the food TASTES! The new owners did such a good job keeping all the old recipes and staff. It’s still a very neighborhood, locals type place. But everyone is so much more comfortable.

review_stars 05/13/2023 - Brand New Look!
I haven't been to Fury's in years.... I heard through the grapevine that the new operators recently renovated and that the restaurant looks so much better. I went last night and sure enough it's AMAZING how they transformed the space! The food is just as good as ever, but now it's clean and bright and it's got a warm neighborhood feel.

The new owners of Fury's have done an AMAZING job of renovating this place. It used to be super dingy. The food was always awesome, but now I can take the whole family out and feel like I'm in a nice restaurant. The seafood is the best in the city, hands down. Definitely try the Flounder and crawfish etoufee dishes.

I definitely like the new environment mood-wise. It's nice and professional. The new customers coming in are very nice, too. The restaurant is back and track.

If you're in the mood for a delicious Italian meal with a New Orleans twist, look no further than Fury's Restaurant, a hidden gem in the heart of Metairie. From the moment you step through the door, you'll be transported to a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly blends the flavors of Italy with the soul of the Big Easy.

First things first: the menu. Whether you're in the mood for classic pasta dishes or something a little more adventurous, Fury's has something for everyone. The house-made salad dressings are a must-try, and the seafood dishes are especially fresh and flavorful. Don't miss the gumbo, either - it's a perfect representation of the restaurant's unique blend of cuisines.

But what really sets Fury's apart is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you sit down. And if you're unsure what to order, they're more than happy to make recommendations and guide you through the menu.

Finally, the atmosphere. The cozy, dimly-lit dining room is the perfect setting for a romantic date night or a family dinner.

Overall, Fury's is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience in the New Orleans area. The perfect blend of Italian and New Orleans cuisine, exceptional service, and a cozy atmosphere make it a standout restaurant in a city known for its incredible food scene.

Had been to Fury's before and the food was better then.

Had fried oysters one time and veal another and the food was terrific but this time I ordered their supposedly wonderful fried chicken and it was awful. There was no seasoning and the meat was so dry and tasteless . I ate it because I am diabetic and needed to eat and did not send it back as I was eating with company. The food critic brags on this dish and boy I he had eaten the chicken I was served he would not put his reputation behind it.
