During my first trip to New Orleans, I indulged in a plate of red beans and rice with fried chicken that was simply unforgettable. The chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, while the massive meatballs and chicken parmigiana on special nights were a feast for the senses, each bite bursting with flavor. Despite a cozy atmosphere and occasionally slower service, the delicious food and friendly staff make every visit worthwhile, and I find myself returning for those generous portions more often than I can count.

The food is always good...you can count on it! Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant has a great family atmosphere. A little jewel in Lakeview.
