WORST experience to date at this restaurant. Dirty silverware, they were out of items (baked potato, red snapper, wedge lettuce) that were advertised either on their Mother’s Day menu or as listed on their specials, found all this out after we ordered. My mother’s FOOD HAD HAIR ON IT. My kids’ French fries and catfish were COLD. We asked for a manager and instead were met with our unapologetic and sarcastic waiter. Our waiter forgot drinks, didn’t offer any condiments to the kids for their fried foods and dare we try to even get him to get us those things...We had a waiter try to pass by us as we waited for our table in the beginning and nonstop, repeatedly, rudely shouted “beep beep beep beep move move move” as we were crammed in the bar area awaiting our RESERVED table, I have small children he was basically pushing out of the way. We waited about 25 mins for a reserved table...I’ve had great experiences there..not anymore and none of our local family will be back. If you are looking to spend $350+ on hair in your food and the most sh-tty overpriced experience, this is your spot! Just overall a horrible Mother’s Day experience.

Ate at Rips today. It was delicious. Our waiter was excellent. We were celebrating our 52 anniversary. There were 6 of us there. He took good care of us and the food was delicious. Enjoyed our time together and the good food. Thanks

My experience there was beyond horrible. Food was cold and the waiter service was disrespectful. I will not be back.

went there for my birthday I thought the service was great the food was ok the string beans could have been better I wanted a virgin Bloody Mary when I got my billl I was surprised to see that they charged me 6 dollarsfor a glass of tomato juice I went to the manager/bartender and asked him if that was correct he said yes I told him I never pay $6.00 for a glass of tomato juice in any restaurant he said it is what it isI told him it was well over a prize he was unresponsive. if you go there make sure you know what you're paying for drink I don't know if I'll ever go back there

Many thanks to Rips on the Lake for making my mother's 90th birthday a memorable occasion. The room was lovely, the service was great, and the food was delicious. Our waiter, Adrain was both charming and efficient. We had a wonderful time. Thanks again.

I ordered the fried green tomatoes. They were ripe and drenched in sauce. The tea was very weak with very little ice. The table was iron with no cloth or level places for my tea glass. After 40 min I still was not served my salad although the table next to me who arrived a good 25 min. After me was given salad. When I nicely asked about my salad the waiter was rude. I would have had a better experience at taco bell.

I cannot recommend this establishment at all. While the food is decent, if there is any issues, you will not get any respect or assistance from the management. In fact, you may be ridiculed for even the most minor of complaints.
There are many other more reputable restaurants in the area.
