Mother's serves up big, flavorful food like cheesy grits, biscuits, and some seriously good ham that'll keep you coming back. The line might look long, but it moves fast and the food is worth every minute-especially the fried chicken and sides like turnip greens. It's casual, busy, and no-frills, but the flavors and speedy service make it a must-try when you're in New Orleans.

Got in line & no one took our order (even when asked for someone to take our order - they said that they would be right back) and we got to the register the person said we had to go to back of the end of line and start over. Complained to the person at the door and he cursed at me, and I left.
