I have been frequenting this place on my way to the coast and finally decided to try their chicken buffet. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, with a great variety including mustard greens, cabbage, red skin potatoes, corn nuggets, and both baked and fried chicken - all at a very reasonable price. The baked chicken was flavorful and the fried chicken was crispy, hot, and juicy, making it a satisfying meal that exceeded my expectations.

For the past 5 to 6 years I've traveled from Hammond to purchase Penny hoghead cheese and always fantastic. Worth the trip. But yesterday I stoped by to get a slab the first of the season. This morning went to slice some up fro the ball game today and it wouldn't cut it fell apart. I could tell by the texture something was different . Looks like it didn't jel . Won't stop me from purchasing it again.

When we were there - very good place - open early for breakfast - good evening meals -good service - seafood night good - go there as often as we can get down to stay at St Bernard and go out to fish - like food and service
