I love the baked goods. However, the one time I have gone since I moved back to the area a few of the items were hard not fresh like a chocolate mousse cupcake. Also the canolis seemed not so fresh. The lady gave me the wrong amount than what I asked for I realized when I went home and she did have an attitude as well. This woman should find a different job. There should be more ricotta filled canolis made as well bc there were only 2 when I went.

This has been my and my family's favorite bakery in recent years. I love the soft strawberry cake. But the service attitude of the staff here is terrible, and today they made me extremely disappointed. I came here this afternoon to get my daughter's birthday cake that I ordered two days ago. A woman asked for the person's name; She said she couldn't find my name on any orders today. She asked I called or came here to order it. I confirm I came here to choose the cake and design for it; I gave the payment receipt they gave me two days ago. She expressed her displeasure and said that the bill didn't prove anything. After asking for my name repeatedly at least four times, she still said she couldn't find it. I tried to explain that I received this note two days ago, made an appointment today (01/23/2022) to pick up the cake, and asked her to double-check today's orders. After checking, she said she had seen my order but said it wasn't time to pick up the cake yet (my appointment was 4 pm, but I arrived 1 pm earlier). I said I knew I came earlier than the scheduled time; if the cake weren't finished, I would come back to pick it up at 4 pm. She said I could wait 10 more minutes for my cake to be done; I agreed. But after waiting for 15 minutes, a man came out and asked me if I wanted to go somewhere; I said no because she told me to wait 10 minutes; I thought my cake was finished. But the fact that I had to wait 45 minutes. When delivering the cake, she asked me if I wanted to write anything on the cake with an unfriendly attitude. I said I wanted to write "happy birthday Lynn" and the date. While observing, I saw her writing 01/22/2022. I told her I wanted to write the 23rd, not the 22nd (today is 01/23). She showed a horrible attitude: sighing, scowling, shaking her head, etc.
I emphasized that today is the 23rd, my child's birthday is today, not yesterday. She got angry and glared at me like I was crazy. Then she went to the inside(probably to check the calendar), then came back, without any explanation, sloppily wrote the date, most importantly, without an apology, for her impolite actions. When the staff put the cake in the box, she did it very hard, causing the cake to hit the edge of the box and leave a large hole. She didn't care, or maybe she thought I didn't see it and ignored it? Even though the cake is delicious, I am not returning with this customer service. Remember, "9 times good service can't make up for one bad service".
