If you find yourself in Tahoe City, make sure to stop by this candy shop where the staff genuinely loves sharing their passion and knowledge about sweets. The interactive vibe and generous samples make picking out treats a fun experience, and the personalized recommendations-from unique European chocolates to spicy mango habanero gummies-always hit the mark. One time, when they ran out of my favorite German Scho-ka-kola, the friendly guy behind the counter went above and beyond by giving me his own defective tin, which I still appreciate to this day.
