Rick's Smokehouse in Terre Haute comes highly praised in the Indiana National Road travelers' guide, and I must say, it truly lives up to the hype. While chain restaurants abound in the area, Rick's offers a refreshing change with its delicious barbecue offerings. During my visit, the restaurant wasn't crowded despite it being dinner time, allowing me to enjoy my rib tips, mac and cheese, and fries in a relaxed setting. If you find yourself in Terre Haute, do yourself a favor and check out Rick's Smokehouse for a satisfying dining experience.
