Last stop before heading up the mountain to Rainer or Crystal! Great food, friendly service, and a laid-back vibe. Ideal for families during the day, though it may be different in the evening. Overall, a fun experience at this funky, old dive bar with tasty food and a welcoming atmosphere.

The Naches Tavern is a cool little bar in a great location. I've been into this place at least 15 times. The food is good sometimes and sometimes it takes forever and comes out tasting nasty. It all depends on if the staff is sober for the night. Unfortunately the place is staffed by a bunch of drugged up drunks. It's too bad really. One of the ladies behind the bar was also more concerned with flirting with the cook then she was about tending to the bar. I think the owner needs to re-staff the place and it would be doing much better.

New Years day, 2016.
Its a beautiful day so my wife, mother in law and I decided to go to the Naches Tavern for nachos.
What a mistake that was. We were brought a huge plate of stale corn chips which had nothing more than a couple spoonfuls of beef on them with a similar amount of diced onion and tomato and a dusting of cheese. The miniscule amount of meat and the 1/4 cup of guacamole were charged additional. It was awful, we drank our beers and left after paying the outrageous amount of $ 31.50
The sad thing is we had nachos here about 3 years ago and they were great. One thing for sure, we wont be going back anytime soon. We returned to the Enumclaw Mazatlan for really good nachos !
