I'm a fan! My dad and stepmom have been raving about the donuts here for months, so I had to try them while visiting Denmark, SC. We enjoyed a variety, including a lemon-filled donut-my favorite-and a massive mega donut that was as big as my face; they were delicious without being overly sweet, and they offer both doughy and cake-style options.

Stopped in on the way from Ga. Hubby loves the cheese danishes. Got those and the blueberry filled donuts. Awesome! I always have to make a stop here. Mmm so good! 5 stars.

Stopped in Thursday, 2-23-23 and bought Bearclaws, Cinnamon Rolls and donut holes. All are great. Biggest dang Cinnamon Roll I ever saw. Makes Cinnabon look like minatures.
She said they have hot dogs, chicken salad and few other things that smelled good.

Well, almost better than Krispie Kremes, but during the summer, the flies are bad in the display case and because they are so expensive, I am disappointed they did not make provisions during the pandemic for social distancing. If it wasn't for those things, yes five stars excellence, but those flies and tight quarters... you will get three stars. Sorry.

I first stopped in here in the summer of 2019 after hearing some people brag about the doughnuts. The drive is almost forty miles for me and I was hoping it would be worth it: it is, although not an every weekend kind of thing. This is one of those old time bakeries where the doughnuts are made by hand. If you frequent the large chain doughnut factories and yearn for a real doughnut, the kind you remember from years ago, take a trip to Denmark (South Carolina, that is) and visit Wee-Bake. Their doughnuts are never frozen, never made by robots, always fresh, consistently good, and you won't be sorry for making the drive. The selection is limited in comparison to the big boys, but the quality is second to none. Now for some things you may want to know before arriving. You won't find any seating in the building as it is a small place with just enough room for the employees and a small area for customers to order, so all items are to-go. The coffee is nothing to brag about, but in all fairness that is common today. My review is about the doughnuts, not the coffee, so the five stars remain. If, like me, you want a great cup of coffee to go with a great doughnut; buy your coffee elsewhere and buy your doughnut here. Limited parking and the potential for a large number of people waiting in line means you may have to do a little walking, although I have always found a spot to park right at the building. It also means that there are a lot of folks who love these doughnuts, so keep that in mind. This probably should go without saying, but I'm saying it anyway...there is no drive-through ordering here. You come inside to make a purchase. I wish there were places like this in Columbia; however it is not a doughnut mecca, so this is the place to come.

They have good big size donuts and a lot more sweet treats. Nice, clean and friendly service. I would definitely recommend the wee bake bakery in Denmark, SC to anyone looking to fill a sweet tooth!

Everything is great and always is! When writing this review they only show 3.5 stars, but I've heard nothing but praise from everyone when I mention Wee Bake. I'm not sure if I have a favorite item since everything is so good. The ONLY downside of Wee Bake is that after you have anything you will judge it against this standard. I love apple fritters, but none come close to the ones here and you will feel the same with anything you try. Enjoy!
