The local bar and restaurant on Vinalhaven Island offers exceptional food that will exceed your expectations. The fried scallop caesar salad was absolutely delicious, and the bartenders are skilled professionals. Don't worry about being a non-local, as the patrons at The Sand Bar are welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to return to this charming establishment - it's quickly become one of my favorite spots on the island.
