The poke bowl and specialty rolls blew me away with their unique and fantastic flavors, and the freshness of the fish was unmatched. The intimate setting combined with friendly, attentive service and the BYOB option made for an amazing and memorable dining experience that my wife and I will definitely return to.

The Poke bowl blew me away with its incredible flavors, and the specialty rolls offered a unique and fantastic taste experience. The small restaurant exuded a great ambience, with the chef and waiter showcasing huge personalities and serving up fantastic Japanese dishes that left a lasting impression.

i was not impressed by black at all. the atmosphere didn't feel like a sushi bar at all, and the quality of the food wasn't that great. they used a toaster oven to cook the scallops. i'm not sure if it's because i've eaten at VERY good sushi places, but i wasn't happy with black at all. you could get 1000x better sushi for the same price or cheaper in portland at miyaki, yosaku, or any other place. i would have much rather even gotten sushi at hannaford. it would have been probably close to the same quality and much cheaper.

This was the best suprise I could have hoped for. It is nice to find a good sushi place and even rarer to find an excellent one but that is what I found at Black Sushi. I had the Oysters, a House Salad, a Lobster roll with baked lobster on top and a chocolate stuffed banana with an amazing ice cream for dessert.

This Redataurant all the way around was a terrific expereince. We loved the food,atmosphere, and most of the service. We're locals to the area and it's nice to finally have a Sushi Restaurant with class. I can't wait to go back already!
