During our family's two-week stay in York, we frequented Surf Side for meals, particularly at Short Sands. The fried scallops and burgers were hands down the best we've had in the area. Chuck provided exceptional care during our visits, making us eager for our next vacation here. The simple, fast, and affordable dining experience by the beach was exactly what we needed.

The service is HORRIBLE, from the top to the cashier. They act like they are doing you a favor by existing right near Short Sands.
Ordered two fish sandwiches (made us ill), hotdog was under cooked (on the grill for literally 2 minutes) even though we specifically asked for it to be well done and when politely asked for the cook to cook longer the cashier and cook laughed and snickered knowing full well we could see them clearly. Sadly, this place use to be good however it has gone down bigtime! Do yourself a favor and go the Goldenrod. I would skip this place.
