The google map for the location of this restaurant is wrong. The Harvest House is next to Aubuchon Hardware a liittle further down the road. Thanks again google for the wrong directions.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant and very clean, and the wait staff are friendly, efficient, professional and are overall great people.
To the reviewer Dan, I don't know how you were raised or where you're from, but calling out someone for what you believe to be a medical condition is not only disgusting, but morally wrong and you should really be ashamed of yourself. Please think before you post discriminatory remarks on the Internet.

The person everyone seems to think got fired for having cancer is still an employee at the Harvest House Restaurant. Why do people lie and make false statements.

The food was good. (shrimp yummy). but the service was poor, and the food overpriced (or rather, the service overpriced), and i was overcharged. sort of a bait and switch. somehow a 12.99 daily special became 20dollars. i saw one waitstaff (the seating hostess i think), smoking out back as i was taking pictures of the sunset, then our table waitress (emily?) was making creepy faces at us all dinner, perhaps a medical condition, but very weird. neither of them could figure out how to substitue for the 'special' when they ran out of the 6oz ribeye portion instead of the 8oz portion, and somehow my beer battered shrimp order became a 4shrimp on a skewer substitution for an extra 6 dollars. i never got any ribeye to try, and instead they gave me some extra chicken, which i'd specifically said i didnt want. also the ketchup bottle was empty, and the toothpick dispenser didnt work. also, even though the restaurant was only 1/4 full, everyone left promptly at 9pm (closing time), as if by habit, cutting their meals short. very poor service. if you just want to eat decent food, this will do, if you want decent food AND good service, go elsewhere. if you want to feel like you were ripped off and bait and switched, go elsewhere.

Excellent food, and HUGE portions. I had the lobster roll with sweet potato fries, and pie for dessert. It was great, going back next time I'm in town.

Terrible food! I didn't even eat my meal. And I had to keep waving the flies off my plate (in October, so the flies were not breeding outside!). Finally, the prices are way too high. Avoid this place, please.

Stayed at the Comfort Inn saw this restaurant in the room directory. What a great meal and pleasant evening! We sat at the comfortable bar and ordered the "Alla Roma" for 2. A generous platter of Chicken Marsala, meatball, lasagna and ravioli. and a bowl of spaghetti. Foccicia bread to die for! The night included entertainment by a wonderful folk singer playing the banjo and guitar.

The first thing you'll notice after being seated is that the place is spotless! We both ordered sirloin steak and each was cooked perfectly! The accompanying veggies were crisp, not soggy and my salad was fresh with yummy honey mustard. The price was moderate.
