Every time I'm back in my hometown, I make sure to swing by the Hi Hat for a hearty breakfast. The food, service, and nostalgic vibe really resonate with me, plus it's easy on the wallet. The omelets are massive, the pancakes are fluffy, and the coffee flows freely, making it a fantastic spot for locals to gather and enjoy a classic diner experience.

I love their cheeseburger. It's just the right size. I don't like a cheeseburger so big that you almost have to break your jaw to open your mouth wide enough to take a bite. They use the best ground beef and it's always juicy. I Usually, I order a small serving of mashed potato on the side. The servers are attentive and they have their faithful customers that have made Hi-Hat there home away from home, and a gathering place for mostly local people (even electricians) to chat and just generally socialize. I've ordered breakfast here and it's fine, but I'm still thinking to myself, "I wish I'd ordered the cheeseburger." Just like 'Wimpy' said on the Popeye cartoon, "I'll gladly pay you on Tuesday for a hamburger today."

never had a bad meal, always friendly and wait for service was average. (favorite place especially for fried haddock and chicken)

Went their on fathers day waited 15 minutes for a table 15 minutes for a waitress placed order for three people waited 1 hour for food for them to come to tell us our order was lost really. Can see you forgot toast or sugar but 3 complete meals thanks for the worst fathers day
