Sunshine and temps over 40 called for an impromptu trip to Popham Beach, and on the way back, we stopped at The Galley where the haddock chowder and strawberry rhubarb crisp with vanilla scoops stole the show. The friendly locals, free refills on coffee and soda, plus the unbeatable value of breakfast favorites like egg sandwiches and blueberry pancakes made it clear this joint thrives on simplicity done right. With a welcoming vibe, quick service (even if a bit slow during the morning rush), and down-to-earth prices, it's the kind of place that feels like a warm hug from the community-and yes, the fish and chips are absolutely worth the detour!
