After searching for a cozy Chinese restaurant with indoor dining, we found Imperial China in South Portland, where I devoured two orders of incredibly doughy and flavorful steamed meat dumplings, while my mom enjoyed delicious Mei Fun noodles and my aunt savored chicken lo mein, all in a clean, spacious environment with friendly service that transported me back to nostalgic 80s dining with a classic menu and a great value for lunch. 🥟

Yuck. First time in 60 yrs I didn't like my food at a Chinese restaurant. Everything was poor quality. Place had food all over the floor.
