I have never been so aggravated with a waitress in my life the waitress had me sit down I was with a friend of mine who was leaving the state today she pulled my first dish before I was done picking at it she took my second dish at the same time she threw down the bill and kept on checking if we had a credit cards ready yes I was there a little bit longer than most people but I did not respect that with customer service like this I'll never go back

Love this buffet! Large seating area, food is circulated often and parking is great. The prices did go up so, it's a tad bit expensive for a buffet but, it's worth it once in awhile.

While I disagree that the food is disgusting... And I have been here several times over the last few years since it has opened... I have never had nasty food or food w/shells or all gristle etc...
But I will agree - it is very "average" food quality and taste. If you are looking for some of the best quality and tasting Chinese food - this wouldn't be where I would recommend. But if you want the LARGEST selection, generally good service, decent food and lower prices - this is the place to go.
I would add tho, they do use a LOT of MSG. My husband is very sensitive to MSG, and there are several Chinese places in Augusta that he doesn't have any issue with... but he's always unpleasantly sick after eating here - due to the high amounts of MSG that they use.

We have eaten here once a week, sometimes twice, for the past year. The food is fresh and tasty; service is fast and friendly, and the price is very good.

I believe that this is one of the best buffets I have been to... I thought that it was very good food. Some things are a little "iffy" But really people don't you feel that way at any buffet? I am going to give this a 4!! Very good!

I disagree with those who say the food tastes like it came from Sams Club; it's worse. I never expect much from a shopping-strip Chinese restaurant, and I even like the cheap fare one usually gets. But this place is a bottom-feeder. Literally, I think they make their egg rolls from the scraps that are left over on people's plates. I have twice found bones and shrimp shells in my egg rolls. The meat in the expensive entres and on the also-expensive buffet is mostly gristle. The fried rice is just boiled white rice with yellow food coloring on it. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the hostesses and waitstaff are pleasant. I have tried the place three times, and will not again, no matter how much I like Chinese food.

Augusta is a small town... with absolutely no shortage of outstanding Tai and Chinese restraunts to eat at.

This place is BIG.. but the food is absolutly low budget. Along with their "Chinese" fare you can also get your fill of chicken nuggets, roast beef, macaroni and cheese, pizza and pudding.

Most of the food tastes as though it came out of a preprepared tub. One of my young boys decided he wanted a slice of pizza. It must have been sitting there all day because it was literally hard like a piece of beef jerky.

They do have a Mongolian Grill in the corner and it appears to be the freshest of teh fare they offer.

I am just not comfortable eating seafood (i.e. sushi and crab legs) at a place wehn its quite obvious that stuff stays out for a LOOOONG time.

This place is just nasty... avoid it like the plague.
There is always Lucky Garden in Hallowell if you want REALLY OUTSTANDING food or two places right on Western Ave that have better Chinese buffets.

My wife has been there 3 or 4 times and each time she ends up with a case of the runs... coincidence? Maybe... maybe not. Never Again.

We went to this buffet on July 24, 2006. We went back to Maine in 2007 but couldn't find it although I had saved the receipt. I found the receipt and cannot wait to go back there this summer. It was the BEST Chinese Buffet that I've ever had. They have everything, including sushi. It was clean, they people were hospitable and the food was AWESOME. We highly recommend this place. We give it 5 stars!!

Went yesterday for lunch thought the food was very good and there was quite a variety to choose from. All items that I tried were nice and fresh. This was my first time there and plan on a return trip.

This place was horrible! 90% of the food tasted like they went up to Sam's Club to purchase pre- packaged food. The few items that weren't pre- packaged were half cooked. Most of the meat items (including chicken) were red in the middle, not pink, red. The selection was horrible, most of it was the pre- packaged microwave shrimp. The waitress couldn't get the drink order right no matter how many times I told her and we waited 30 minutes for our bill. We finally had to go and ask for it from whoever was in charge. The prices were outrageous for what we got. It was the first and the last time I will ever go there.
