Is Cal's still open despite the virus restrictions on bars? I visited for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere created by both the staff and regulars. A true local gem in Carlsbad, Cal's offers excellent service, a laid-back vibe, and affordable drinks for a genuine dive bar experience.

Oldest and Best bar in Carlsbad! Drama free! Friendly atmosphere! Cold beer! No cover charge! And you can get beer and liquor TO GO too!
